Vena Care NW screens all patients at our draw centers and in the field. We screen for signs of acute respiratory illness, including fever, cough and difficulty breathing.
We are keeping up to date on the recommendations for preventing spread of COVID-19 on CDC’s website as well as it will be listed here. www.cdc.gov We are ensuring proper use of personal protection equipment (PPE). Our staff who come in close contact with confirmed or possible patients with COVID-19 will be wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment gloves, eye protection, masks and disposable scrubs. We encourage our staff to stay at home if they are feeling sick. Personnel who develop respiratory symptoms (e.g., cough, shortness of breath) will be instructed not to report to work. The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. We are in the healthcare industry and it is our jobs to protect ourselves as well as our patients and clients. Please understand that we are still open for business and taking all precautions so that our patients and healthcare providers can continue their health journeys! |
